Share The Holidays with Dr. Joiner and Team

On December 10, 2010, Dr. Joiner and team representatives went to the Capitola Auto Mall for the Salvation Army and KSBW's televised fundraiser "Share the Holidays" toy and fund drive.

Many of Dr. Joiner's patients from Santa Cruz, Capitola, Soquel, Aptos, Watsonville and the San Lorenzo Valley area contributed toys for the drive via their contribution through our "First Retainer replacement fee reduction" program.  When a patient loses a retainer, its a sad thing, and expensive to replace! Dr. Joiner has a program that allows a significant fee reduction for the patient's first replacement set of retainers when the patient brings a quality child's toy or gift, along with a story of  how they lost their retainer(s).

Through this program, we gathered over 100 toys for the Salvation Army's Toy Drive and presented them to the Salvation Army during the televised fundraiser.  Little Bert, the toy poodle, was "Santa Paws" and offered a little extra holiday cheer.
